Launches Addtronics Custom Automation, combined entity of Missouri Tooling & Automation and Dynamic Design Solutions

~9 ACA employees are typically dedicated to each project: 1 Project Manager, 1 Lead Mechanical Engineer, 1 Mechanical Resource, 1 Lead Controls Engineer, 1 Controls Resource, 1 Electrical Engineer, 2 Build Techs & 1 Electrical Tech. This is dependent heavily on project size.

ACA supports a wide array of projects as it pertains to both price & size. We have taken on lean projects with a footprint from $35,000-$50,000; we have also completed significantly sized projects that range from $250,000-$3M. We have a 25,000 sq. ft. facility with extensive capabilities to support the most robust custom-built systems. To ensure that we have the resources present to support larger projects, we are continuously investing in our company and employees by hiring new talent and expertise.

We keep the majority of controls design in-house, however we occasionally utilize outside resources when warranted. The outside resources we do use are heavily vetted, and the customer would be notified and follows the same PM process as if it were in-house. ACA is well positioned as it pertains to control capabilities.

ACA has an on-time delivery rating of >95%. When we do experience delays, they are usually due to vendor or customer postponements. We attempt to make up delays due to vendors, whereas customer delays are harder to make up. ACA has one of the strongest reputations in the market for delivering on what we promise.

We work to understand all the requirements for a project during the quotation phase, however we understand that they may change. We ensure that we have thorough design review meetings with the customer to ensure that we are capturing everything; if changes arise throughout the build of the project our PM team will notify you immediately before proceeding. This is something that we work with you through.

ACA has a process that is spearheaded by our Project Manager. We track all projects using a digital task punch list "Monday.com" that gives our team and the customer constant visibility on milestones and expected completion dates. This information can be exported to excel and shared with our customers during each step of the process. The team that you have from the start of the project is with you through implementation (FAT/SAT).

Yes, we can also add preliminary design reviews and will provide frequent updates. Based on the size and complexity of the machine, we have internal design reviews that cover individual stations/ sections of the machine as well as a final design review. We are willing to accommodate whatever approach our customer feels most comfortable with- some are more hands off and just want to see the final design while others like to be more involved and we provide weekly or biweekly updates to ensure everyone is on the same page. If you need further support beyond just the PM feel free to contact your rep individually. We do not move past the phased approach without customer sign off and you will have a direct path of communication to each individual involved.

ACA is committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers and providing exceptional support of our machines after installation. We provide a standard 1-year warranty on all of our systems and can be reached for technical support after the point of sale by directly contacting the sales rep or the PM. ACA is highly focused on the quality of our systems and ensures that before any system has been installed it has exceeded the customer's expectations and mitigates the risk of any machine downtime. ACA is committed to support after the point of sale and will be sure to provide such if needed. We have supported projects on a global and national scale.

Yes- on top of being a Fanuc Level 1 Integrator, we have partnerships and relationships with all major robotic and sensor companies including ABB, Fanuc, Keyence, Cognex, Epson etc. Our engineers stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology- attending seminars, etc. to ensure that we are using cutting edge technologies within our machines.

We offer a real-time machine monitoring software called Automation Intellect* that comes installed for 1 year. This allows for remote visibility into plant and machine performance, monitoring OEE and improving bottom line.
